Unbelievable Audio From the New Black Panthers: ‘Suited, Booted, and Armed’

Hmm…This may not be wise. After all never underestimate your enemy. But hey I am just a White Devil, what do I know? Apparently they are angry at white, pink and honky devils as well as capitalism. They may be also angry at their history teachers since it is obvious they didn’t learn anything while in class. Had they paid attention they might have learned just how bad a decision it would be to pick a fight with the most competent, peace loving, productive, moral people the world has ever seen. I am talking about the silent majority in this country which up till now has been, if not perfectly content, then reasonably ok with the idea of sending bucket loads of money to the government to take care of these lazy asses. And I am addressing these New Black Panther losers…it is pretty apparent when watching the various videos of these losers that none of them are working. Which means that the rest of us are supporting them. Nice gig if you can get it.

They might want to reconsider picking a fight with those who have the capability to provide a decent life for their lay about lazy asses while also providing for their own wives, husbands, children and grandchildren. That sort of excess capacity points to competence that none of those New Black Panthers understand. That sort of competence transfers to whatever we do…if you get my drift. The biggest problem would be getting us to stop once we get pissed off enough to fight. The New Black Panthers wouldn’t like us when we are angry. If they have any doubts about what happens when we get angry there are some folks they can speak to: Japanese, Germans, British, Indians, Mexicans, and various other groups who end up dead when they misunderestimate us.

If blood is spilled, it will get ugly fast and that blood will be all over Obama’s hands for not reining these New Black Clowns in.

Unbelievable Audio From the New Black Panthers: Suited, Booted, and Armed

The New Black Panthers had a group phone call Friday to discuss the April 9 rally for Trayvon Martin.

(Related: Malik Zulu Shabazz: New Black Panthers Planning April 9 ‘Day of Action’)

Hosted primarily by Michelle Williams and Chawn Kweli, the New Black Panther’s chief of staff in Tampa and a national spokesman, respectively, the call was filled with violent, hate-filled speech outlining the party’s future plans.  Words like “war, cracker, and blood“ seemed to be the biggest ”buzz words” in the conversation.

Listen to the stunning audio, courtesy of

The audio is a little rough at points, so The Blaze has transcribed the relevant statements (emphasis added).

Williams: I just want to say to all the listeners on this phone call, that if you are having any doubt about getting suited, booted, and armed up for this race war that we’re in that has never ended, let me tell you somethin…the thing that’s about to happen these honkies, these crackers, these pigs, these people, these motherf*er…it has been long overdue.”

Kweli: “Ya, what she said was right– we got to suit up and boot up…and get prepared for the war that we’re in…this stuff got to boil over, and all your great’s talked about that happened to be bloodshed involved with revolution- true revolution means some bloodshed, so there‘s blood being spilled because there’s a new life that is beyond this bloodshed.  There is a new reality that is built upon your original African principles and spiritualities and values and norms that is beyond this bloodshed.  But we gotta go do it.

“And as the Scripture said, you gotta to cross it.  We gon’ have to cross the Red Sea….I know y’all thought it was talking about some sea in some Middle Eastern part of the world- hell no.  We’re talking about some blood.  You’re gonna have to cross some blood, and go through some bloodand some battles.

“And there are those who wish they could stand in this hour, to see the destruction of the devil‘s world and the devil’s society– and I‘m ain’t talking about no dude underneath the ground with a pitchfork and pantyhose.  I’m talking about that blonde haired, blue-eyed, sometimes brown-eyed, Caucasian walkin around with a mindset, a demonistic mindset, and a nature to do evil and brutality.”

Williams: “I say to everyone that is on this call right now, I‘m comin’ out of the gate…my prize right now this evening is going to be the bounty, the arrest– dead or alive– for George Zimmerman.  You feel me?  To every brother, to every female, I am for violence if non-violence means we continue postponing a solution to the American black man’s problem just to avoid violence.  You feel me?  It’s time to wake up, I don’t know how else...It’s in me to fight.  It’s in me to raise up soldiers.  It’s in me that every time my feet touch the ground the state of Florida- these crackers- they scared.

“I’m kinda pissed off right now that the state of Florida ain’t on fire.  This could not have happened in L.A. because them brothers up there are not scared to riot.  This could not have happened in St. Petersburg Florida, where the black man over there are ain’t scared to kill a cracker.”

Kweli: “This is real.  We’re attacked anywhere in the world and we would defend ourselves by any means necessary…You starve capitalism, since this racism that‘s being perpetuated and this brutality that’s being perpetuated, and this murder that’s being perpetuated, is built on the table legs of capitalism, you’ve got to starve capitalism.

An act of war has been declared on us and we have no choice but to fight…[But] we have to be trained how to fight.  See the whole purpose of the maneuver that’s happening in Sanford is to train in self-defense, because many of us think we’re prepared for a battle- just like many of us think we’re prepared for a fight- but if you are not training, if you are not stocking up water, if you are not stocking up food, if you are not stocking up weapons and artillery and survival books, and gas masks, and flashlights, and cantines, and ready-to-eat meals…if you are not stocking that up I don’t know how serious we are right now.

“Absolutely, we want the complete removal of capitalism.  Why?  Because capitalism sets up a class structure and a class society.  As I said in the beginning of the “haves” and “have nots,” [the] pivotal point is racism, it is racism that keeps them perpetuating a capitalistic motion.  So yes, we want capitalism completely eradicated, especially from the minds and hearts and dealings of black people.” Unbelievable Audio From the New Black Panthers: ‘Suited, Booted, and Armed’

One of Two Outcomes…None Good.

Just how will this unfold when everything finally unwinds? This description of the problem makes a bit of sense…perhaps a lot of sense.

It may be that the biggest single problem confronting the liberty-minded is the existence of a large (and growing) American proletariat. There have always been poor people, of course. But the proletariat is distinct from people who are merely lower down on the economic totem pole – or down on their luck.

I am just now finishing up a book about the Dust Bowl in the 1930s by Timothy Egan, The Worst Hard Time (see here). In it, you read of people who endured real poverty – as in, starvation poverty, living in a sod-walled, dirt-floored “dugout” in Oklahoma. No electricity – much less TeeVee (let alone a flat-screen TeeVee with Netflix streaming set up in front of a Rent-a-Center sofa in an air-conditioned Section 8 apartment with a refrigerator full of EBT-acquired food ). And of how reluctant – how ashamed – these people (most of them) were to even ask for government assistance. And when they did ask, in their utter desperation, all they wanted was enough help to keep them from literally dying – and to help them get back to work.

The gibs muh dat mentality so cancerously pervasive today was all-but-nonexistent then. People who could work but didn’t – and lived off those who did – were viewed as pariahs, as maggots. Even the most penniless sodbuster had moral standards rarely found today among the affluent middle classes. 1930s Americans had been raised to believe in a day’s work for a day’s pay – and viewed with suspicion and contempt people who didn’t work and yet still demanded a day’s pay.

Communism didn’t take root here then for that reason.

America, circa 1932, was still heady with the fumes of the  late 18th century and its deeply entrenched notions of individual responsibility (the corollary of individual rights), thrift, delayed gratification – and self-reliance. Most people wanted to live by the sweat of their brows, not by the sweat of the brows of others. And the corollary of that was a similarly entrenched belief system which held that what you owned was yours – by dint of your hard work.  The wealth envy and resentment  so commonplace  now was much less in evidence as recently as 80 years ago – a mere generation or two in the rearview mirror.

Today, socialism (that is, communism taking its time) is all around us. We are immersed in it.

Because we now have a proletariat. Millions who want what you have because you have it – and they don’t. And who will use any means available to take it from you. One of Two Outcomes | Eric Peters Autos

Because he specifically attacks the feminist version of reality. Because no attacks are permitted against the prevailing wisdom of the left. Because this is a harbinger of how our nation will be run if we continue down the path of political correctness instead of honest discussion of difficult questions. Because men are evil…

Here is the Wiki discussion regarding the deletion.

Apparently one of the criteria for inclusion is that the story is noted in the national press. Seems like that will be difficult to achieve since it is in the self interest of the national press that this story die. After all offending the feminists who are oppressing men cannot be allowed to happen. The meme of men being evil must be supported in all branches of the elite.

The Organized Silencing of a Man Publicly Burned To Death

Are you in pain? If you’re a man, then Shut Up.

Are you being abused, by your wife or girlfriend? Tough Shit.

Are you worn down by the continuous public narrative that due to your masculinity, you’re obviously a lesser person, or violent, or criminal, or just fucking guilty?

Quit Whining, Shut Up, and Pay Your Fucking Child Support Payments.

In fact, if you have any complaint about the systematic abrogation of your rights, and you speak up against the marginalization of your identity based on your sex, (if you’re male) and you weather years of public shaming, accusation, theft, violence, and criminalization of your person – you can be assured that nobody cares, and your pain is fodder for comedy, or else it is invisible.

What if a corrupt and profiteering family court system driven by money appropriated from fathers in their child support payments – this court system irrevocably separates you from your children, devastating you while utterly denying your pain, and garnishing your earnings. Tough shit, pay up sucker.

But lets say you endure such prolonged agony and abuse through the courts, and such systematic refusal by the institutions of society to redress any grievance that your last ultimate option to be heard is to literally and actually set yourself on fire and die, burning in public.

Now, lets imagine a world so totally twisted that the media totally blanks this as a news item. That dismissive and scant reporting of this act of political self immolation is written off with throw away lines calling you, the burned corpse – a deadbeat, a lone nut.

Dr. Helen weighs in…no wonder Glenn Reynolds married her she reminds me of my wife.

1000 Point Drop DOW!?! Greeks Burning Greeks! Wall Street Bonuses Out of Control! Time For The Fed To Bailout Europe…Yea Baby Give Me More!

With Obama’s apparent strategy leaning towards exploring every single way to collapse the United States, it isn’t a surprise that we are bailing out Europe. Ah, all the wonderful leftists love to crow about this or that European fashion, ridiculous pensions, life time employment, huge bureaucracies, nanny state, check, check, check, check and check, leftists in the US want all of that! Don’t worry though because it is the rare conservative indeed who will speak out against the “safety net” indeed finding a so-called right wing politician who will admit forthrightly that he intends to cut spending is akin to finding a leftist questioning the idea that someone’s “needs” trumps my freedom. (This makes Conservative NJ Governor Chris Christie a real up and comer and Ron Paul a saint) We are going straight to hell and the goddamn hand basket is in flames! Anyways Zero Hedge as usual is all the way around the story. Really if you aren’t reading Zero Hedge, The Market Ticker ®, Financial Armageddon, Calculated Risk, Dollar Collapse and a few others then all of what is happening is a big ass shock to you. Being surprised is only fun for your birthday.

We are rapidly approaching a point where it simply won’t matter whether the politicians and their needy minions want to cut this or that “safety net”…we have outgrown our ability to pay for all we have promised. As economist Robert Samuelson points out in a recent article we are witnessing the Welfare State’s Death Spiral. And this European Bailout is the sort of dumb move, that will accelerate our final reckoning. What is hilarious and indicative of Obama’s desire to destroy this country is that at the VERY the same time we rushing to adopt all of the sorts of policies that put Europe in that position. Weee!

Well guess what: with about $500 billion in liquidity swaps about to hit the asset side of the ledger (that’s a conservative estimate based on the last time the Fed went full bore on bailing out Europe, and sorry, that European bailout does not come cheap), Excess Reserves (fed liabilities) are about to skyrocket by a comparable amount to match the assets. And here is the double whammy: $500 billion in new excess reserves earning 0.25% for holder banks, means US banks are about to earn an additional $1.25 billion a year risk-free courtesy of US taxpayers, who already are getting the shaft by paying more for gas thanks to the privilege of having bailed out Europe and drowned the world in new and unprecedented gobs of excess liquidity! Simply stated, the Greek “bailout” is a roundabout way of funneling over another extra billion to US banks! Direct cost to US taxpayers to bailout Europe via IMF: $50 billion; Indirect cost to fund incremental bank excess reserves: $1.25 billion; The joy of being raped daily by the Fed-Wall Street complex and assuring another year of record Wall Street bonuses: priceless. Some things money can’t buy. For everything else there are trillions in Federal Reserve Notes appearing each and every day out of thin air. Fed Pretends It Is Preparing To Soak Up Excess Reserves, Even As Currency Swaps Are Sure To Add About $500 Billion To Fed’s Assets | zero hedge (emphasis mine)

FCC’s Diversity Czar: ‘White People’ Need to be Forced to ‘Step Down’ ‘So Someone Else Can Have Power’

Meet Mark Lloyd he is the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)’s Chief Diversity Officer! Neato!

Well gee maybe this guy is a bit over the top eh? That color blind society that Martin Luther talked about is so much closer now that we have a black man acting as President.

This reminds me of those “diversity” clowns that run around universities banning speech, giving re-education classes and in general acting like the asses that they are. What we have here is the typical liberal university diversity czar…AKA fascist clown in a dangerous position of power.

Conference on Media Reform: Racial Justice May 2005

During the Clinton Administration, largely because of Congress who was then very concerned about affirmative action and believed that – although affirmative action largely benefited white women – that affirmative action was largely viewed as something that was benefiting blacks. Not necessarily any of the other racial groups (his laughter) but blacks. And that blacks had gotten enough and it was time to do something about this. These affirmative action programs needed to be stopped. We have not made much improvement since we’ve begun to pull back (sic) from those things in the mid 1990s.

The conversation about how we communicate with each other despite being aware of the clear impressions that I know that I make in rooms that I walk into, when people hear my voice, is a challenge. How much do I express the… I think really pretty obvious complaints of black Americans in rooms full of whites.

This… there’s nothing more difficult than this. Because we have really, truly good white people in important positions. And the fact of the matter is that there are a limited number of those positions. And unless we are conscious of the need to have more people of color, gays, other people in those positions we will not change the problem. We’re in a position where you have to say who is going to step down so someone else can have power.

There are few things I think more frightening in the American mind than dark skinned black men. Here I am.

Fairness and Accuracy In Media’s CounterSpin Radio July 2007

What we’re really saying is that the Fairness Doctrine’s not enough. And that having a sort of over-arching rule that says broadcasters ought to be fair or ought to provide issues important to communities and that they ought to do it in a fair and balanced way is simply enough. Unless you put some teeth into that and put some hard, structural rules in place that are going to result in fairness.  FCC’s Diversity Czar: ‘White People’ Need to be Forced to ‘Step Down’ ‘So Someone Else Can Have Power’ |

The black panthers, Van Jones, Holder, Reverend Wright, Father Phlegar and the rest of the racist crew all support Obama…? Why? Hey maybe Obama doesn’t like white folks either? Maybe that is why he keeps putting these maniacs into places of power? Of course Father Phlegar, Rev Wright and are not in power but that was because they jumped out of cover before Obama was elected…so under the bus they went.

If you are upset that I am asking this question you need to wonder how is it that so many blatant racists support Obama? Would they support Obama if he thought rational thoughts about white folks???

Brutally Honest has even more…back at ya Rick!

‘Those who (laughingly) “represent” us in Congress are vulnerable for the oldest of reasons: they do not have clean hands.’

Read this analysis of the situation our politicians find themselves in after today’s march and tell me it doesn’t ring true!

From Garry Hamilton in e-mail originally and now posted at his wife’s site… this must read:

It should be remembered that in any public demonstration of activism, the percentage of participation — from within the larger group of like-minded constituents — is not only typically single digits, but down at one or two percent.

If you can muster a million actual people, physically present, there will be AT LEAST between 50 and 100 people who would have gone or wanted to go but were prevented from so doing by logistics. And current estimates put the number in attendance at two million or more.

Meaning that their sentiments are shared by anywhere from 100 million to 200 million people. Of whom, I would reckon the solid majority are registered voters.

If I am a member of either House of Congress, these numbers tell me something about my future, and give me pause to contemplate the weight of the two primary threats to my career: “shall I succumb to the blackmail and extortion from the Administration, or cave in to the wishes of my constituents?”

Those who (laughingly) “represent” us in Congress are vulnerable for the oldest of reasons: they do not have clean hands.

You cannot threaten an honest man. You have no leverage. The best you can do is simple thuggery. And against a man of integrity and courage, you don’t even have that.

All but the most arrogant among our legislators have to know, now, the mind of those they presume to represent.

All but the most hubris-polluted will know that the usual shrug-and-dismiss protocol obtains no traction.

Even with the abetting silence of the Fourth Estate, they must know they have no cover.

What remains to be seen is who among them shall offer contrition and seek reconciliation with those whose hand holds the ballot.

I suspect — if what seems actually IS — that those who bluster that it wasn’t their fault, or that they didn’t know, or, indeed, that they were right (in spite of the evidence) will be sitting out the remainder of the game from the next election forward.

I only pray there are enough people left who don’t want the job to replace those husks of rotting souls who have believed that their election was the winning ticket to the ultimate privilege lottery.

Brutally Honest: ‘Those who (laughingly) “represent” us in Congress are vulnerable for the oldest of reasons: they do not have clean hands.’

As Glenn Beck is so very fond of saying…We Surround Them!

Obama heckled by SC congressman Joe Wilson

WASHINGTON — The nastiness of August’s health care debate reached into the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday as President Barack Obama tried to move his reform plan forward.

South Carolina Republican Rep. Joe Wilson shouted "You lie!" after Obama had talked about illegal immigrants.

It wasn’t the only interruption during Obama’s speech to a joint session of Congress in the House of Representatives. Earlier, Republicans laughed when Obama acknowledged that there are still significant details to be worked out before a health care overhaul can be passed.

Wilson’s outburst caused Obama to pause briefly before he went on with his speech. Overhead in the visitors’ gallery, first Lady Michelle Obama shook her head from side to side.

Van Jones Is A Feature…Not A Bug Of The Obama Administration

Former White House staffer under President Reagan, Jeffery Lord puts together a solid if unimaginative article directing Glenn Beck to ask the following questions.

Here are the questions Glenn Beck and others should be asking, based on my own personal experience:
  1. Who on the White House staff cleared Van Jones?
  2. What was that person’s connection to Van Jones or Mr. Jones’s political sponsor?
  3. Who, exactly, was Mr. Jones’ sponsor for this job? How much money did he/she contribute to the Obama campaign?
  4. Did the Secret Service notify anyone on the White House staff — or the President or First Lady or Vice President Biden — that Mr. Jones had an arrest record on file with police in two cities?
  5. Did the Secret Service protest any of this, objecting to Mr. Jones’ clearance?
  6. If the Secret Service did object, who overruled them? The President? The Chief of Staff? Someone else?
  7. If the answer to this last question is yes, and the Secret Service was overruled by the President or someone else, why did this happen?
  8. The White House is a busy place. But there are always answers to questions like these.

Are you struck, as I was, by how naive and weak these questions are? Doesn’t Jeffery KNOW the answers to those questions? Is he afraid of upsetting the radicals in the White House? There really isn’t any reason to forgive the American public for crime it did to this nation by being lazy regarding vetting Obama. All of the connections to his radical friends and beliefs were available to anyone who did the least bit of searching. But if we are not able to forgive the American public, who are notoriously uninterested in politics, then exactly what do we think of an insider like Lord when he asks such naive and weak questions? Here Jeffery let me answer all of your questions…Obama.

My goodness Mr. Lord did you miss the part where Obama was turned over as a child to a communist mentor? That his mother was herself a “progressive”? Did you miss the cheerleading for Obama that is going on in Marxist websites such as Political Affairs? William Ayers, Father Phlegar, Revrend Wright, Khalidi and a the entire panoply of leftist nutjobs did you miss all of them??? Because if you have been paying attention these last few years you know that Van Jones is not a bug….he is a feature of the Obama administration.

Reading the comments I was struck by this commenter. Read this…at the end I have a couple of questions.

Wow. Mr. Lord, are YOU stuck in the dark ages or what? Very cute, your assuming any rules of decorum or tradition or respect for institutions still apply to presidential politics.

You think you are being SCANDALOUS by obliquely intimating that Obama might have – gasp – approved of a gangsta like Jones being in the White House? Hellooooooo! Obama WANTS people like this around him. It’s WHO OBAMA IS. Jones wasn’t approved in spite of his record; he was approved BECAUSE of it. Wake the hell up, you white-glove conservatives.

The rules ALL changed with the coronation of our first hip-hop president. Hip hop culture draws in no small measure from the thuggish conventions that were forged in America’s raw urban slums. It is the romanticizing – and lionization – of the ghetto’s Lord-of-the-Flies mentality vis a vis the mundane middle class decorum practiced by the pampered bourgeoisie. The Vanilla Drudges that comprise the “ancien regime” spend most of their time safely insulated in the protective bubble-wrap of dreary suburban values – values that are invariably scorned by rebellious youth, counter-cultural trendiness and, of course, the newly-ennobled gangstas, pimps and hoes themselves.

The hip-hop culture’s hallmark is a harsh, aggressive, rude style of in-your-face interaction, always punctuated by a crass materialism, a worship of instant gratification, an ostentatiously unapologetic avarice, and a bullying sense of entitlement that have been folded up neatly, given the stamp of “authenticity” and enshrined in our pop culture by our ever-so-wise children, “ageless” hipsters and, of course, “caring” liberals everywhere. And its impact on civility and the decorum that used to dictate dignified human interaction has been like hydrochloric acid on tender skin.

Snipped for brevity…further down.

And Van Jones personifies this mentality – and our tolerance of it – perfectly, no matter how much environmentalism, social justice, or well-tailored drapery he hides his ghetto ethic in. And the minimal cluck-clucking about what’s really behind his appointment proves that the tribute white guilt pays to thuggish black culture is, as ever, alive and well – as we see with Jeffrey Lord’s painstaking avoidance of – dare I say it, calling a spade a spade –and identifying what’s really going on with the Obama administration: It is the rise of the Hip Hop presidency. Even the ostensibly conservative Fox All-Stars Charles Krauthammer and Stephen Hayes delicately parse their responses to this travesty oh-so-equanimously, airbrushing out the more thuggish aspects of Jones’s behavior and laughing off a lack of basic civility that you can bet would have had their panties in a bunch during the Bush era. Why, who cares about the death of decorum, of serious people taking serious approaches to serious problems? (Jones IS black, after all.) Why, their only quibble is that Jones was revealed to be a – gasp – “truther!”

Hey, Charles and Stephen: That should have been the last straw, not the first.

So I wouldn’t count on Van Jones being kicked unceremoniously to the curb. He’s a “playa,” after all, and as hip-hop teaches us, we are to “hate the game, but not the playa.” And even if he is jettisoned from the administration, there are many, many more brutish, unhinged thugs where he came from. Just as occurred with the Reign of Terror, it is the very rejection of tradition, decorum, rule of law, common sense and civility that are the fuel of the Obama revolution. Wake up, conservatives. You have got to get hip to what the administration already knows: If you get rid of all of the rotten apples in this barrel, you’re going to wind up with an empty barrel. The American Spectator : The Real Van Jones Scandal: Why Glenn Beck Is Right

That comment and many others like it was posted on the American Spectator site not some fringe site catering to white supremacy. Read it again. Striking that these sorts of comments are starting to become mainstream. I agree wholeheartedly with the comment. But it is still strange to see these sorts of thoughts discussed openly. 5 years ago American Spectator probably would have banned a person for uttering such thoughts. Makes a person wonder how well the post racial America is doing. Now my questions for Glenn Beck.

  1. Do you believe that Obama is subverting the constitution by appointing Czars?
  2. What do you plan on doing about it?
  3. Do you think that Congress has an oversight role to play in the President’s appointments?
  4. What if the President subverts this oversight role?
  5. What does the congress plan on doing about it?

  1. Are the limits we have in place limiting the actions of the President effective against a person who might not feel restricted by traditions and who might be counting on the press to cover for him?

Let’s not speculate that Obama is Hitler but we should ask what if a radical somehow got into power. Exactly how would we limit the damage?

UPDATE: VAN JONES RESIGNS…one down a bunch more to go.

Death Panels An Interview With President Obama –

Hahaha…That Sarah off on a tangent again…Death Panels??? Can I get a Harrumph!?!

Oh wait…hmmm this looks bad.

Now, I actually think that the tougher issue around medical care — it’s a related one — is what you do around things like end-of-life care —

Yes, where it’s $20,000 for an extra week of life.

THE PRESIDENT: Exactly. And I just recently went through this. I mean, I’ve told this story, maybe not publicly, but when my grandmother got very ill during the campaign, she got cancer; it was determined to be terminal. And about two or three weeks after her diagnosis she fell, broke her hip. It was determined that she might have had a mild stroke, which is what had precipitated the fall.

So now she’s in the hospital, and the doctor says, Look, you’ve got about — maybe you have three months, maybe you have six months, maybe you have nine months to live. Because of the weakness of your heart, if you have an operation on your hip there are certain risks that — you know, your heart can’t take it. On the other hand, if you just sit there with your hip like this, you’re just going to waste away and your quality of life will be terrible.

And she elected to get the hip replacement and was fine for about two weeks after the hip replacement, and then suddenly just — you know, things fell apart.

I don’t know how much that hip replacement cost. I would have paid out of pocket for that hip replacement just because she’s my grandmother. Whether, sort of in the aggregate, society making those decisions to give my grandmother, or everybody else’s aging grandparents or parents, a hip replacement when they’re terminally ill is a sustainable model, is a very difficult question. If somebody told me that my grandmother couldn’t have a hip replacement and she had to lie there in misery in the waning days of her life — that would be pretty upsetting.

And it’s going to be hard for people who don’t have the option of paying for it.

THE PRESIDENT: So that’s where I think you just get into some very difficult moral issues. But that’s also a huge driver of cost, right?

I mean, the chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives are accounting for potentially 80 percent of the total health care bill out here.

So how do you — how do we deal with it?

This is where it gets ugly…and just as lawyers have been trained to do from the beginning of time he does not allow himself to be cornered into saying that these conversations, guided by panels made up of Doctors, Scientists and errr ethicists, will not be voluntary. The elephant in the room is the idea that this “Death Panel” will not have the power to make blanket rules about circumstances which the government should not fund.

I am from the Government and I am here to help.

THE PRESIDENT: Well, I think that there is going to have to be a conversation that is guided by doctors, scientists, ethicists. And then there is going to have to be a very difficult democratic conversation that takes place. It is very difficult to imagine the country making those decisions just through the normal political channels. And that’s part of why you have to have some independent group that can give you guidance. It’s not determinative, but I think has to be able to give you some guidance. And that’s part of what I suspect you’ll see emerging out of the various health care conversations that are taking place on the Hill right now.   After the Great Recession – An Interview With President Obama –

One has to wonder who Obama might want on his “independent” group.

John Holdren springs to mind…

John P. Holdren is advisor to President Barack Obama for Science and Technology, Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and Co-Chair of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST)

Here are some choice quotes from the guy Obama might tap to be on an independent group giving guidance to the sick. Take it away Johnny! All of the following material is borrowed from the absolutely remarkable work by Zombietime blog.

Harrison Brown’s most remarkable book, The Challenge of Man’s Future (Viking, 1954; reprinted by Westview, 1984), was published more than three decades ago. By the time I read it as a high school student a few years later, the book had been widely acclaimed as a monumental survey of the human prospect, illuminated through analysis of the interaction of population, technology, and the resources of the physical world. I knew even before high school that science and technology held special interest for me, and I suppose I also had some prior interest in the larger human condition. But The Challenge of Man’s Future pulled these interests together for me in a way that transformed my thinking about the world and about the sort of career I wanted to pursue. I have always suspected that I am not the only member of my generation whose aspirations and subsequent career were changed by this book of Harrison Brown’s.

What was so special about the book? Perhaps most impressive at the time was the combination of audacity and erudition with which Brown wove together insights from anthropology, history, economics, geochemistry, biology, and the study of technology to provide a coherent, multidimensional picture of his subject—how humans have provided themselves with the physical ingredients of existence in the past, their prospects for doing so in the future, and the connections between these matters and the sociopolitical dimensions of the human condition. As a demonstration of the power of (and necessity for) an interdisciplinary approach to global problems, the book was a tour de force.

And who is it exactly that Holdren admires so much? Well Harrison is a swell character. Here are some quotes from the book that Holdren claims had such an impact on his choice for his life’s work.

First, man can discourage unfit persons from breeding. Second, he can encourage breeding by those persons who are judged fit on the basis of physical and mental testing and examinations of the records of their ancestors.

Priorities for artificial insemination could be given to healthy women of high intelligence whose ancestors possessed no dangerous genetic defects. Conversely, priorities for abortions could be given to less intelligent persons of biologically unsound stock.

Such steps would undoubtedly contribute substantially to a slowing down of species deterioration. But it is clear that they would by no means be sufficient. A broad eugenics program would have to be formulated which would aid in the establishment of policies that would encourage able and healthy persons to have several offspring and discourage the unfit from breeding at excessive rates.

Here is Obama’s science advisor Holdren again lauding the perversion of life that Brown represents. We fought a bloody war against another group of maniacs who thought they knew who was fit and who wasn’t. Now we are putting this maniacs into office. Take it away Obama Science advisor Holdren.

Here are some more choice quotes from this “Tour de Force” The Challenge of Man’s Future by Harrison Brown.

In the first place, it is amply clear that population stabilization and a world composed of completely independent sovereign states are incompatible. Populations cannot be stabilized by agreement any more than levels of armament can be stabilized by agreement. And, as in the latter case, a world authority is needed which has the power of making, interpreting, and enforcing, within specified spheres, laws which are directly applicable to the individual. Indeed, population stabilization is one of the two major problems with which a world government must necessarily concern itself.

Given a world authority with jurisdiction over population problems, the task of assessing maximum permissible population levels on a regional basis need not be prohibitively difficult.

We are handing our lives over to a bunch of folks who think it is ok to decide who lives and who dies. We are handing our lives over to a bunch of folks who further think that there are too many humans on the planet. We are handing our lives to folks whose friends have talked about eliminating millions because they hold the wrong philosophy on life…take it away Weathermen.

The title of this post is a partial quote from FBI Operative and Army veteran Larry Grathwohl who infiltrated the Weather Underground combined with an observation of my wife. It was question to Billy Ayers, Bernadette Dohrn and other Weathermen during a conversation about what they envisioned the United States would look like after they won the war. Yes he confirms that Billy Ayers, a person Obama called a guy in his neighborhood, was in the room when this was said: (thank you to Bob Owens from Confederate Yankee for a terrific article and to Pajama Media for hosting it!)

I asked, Well what is going to happen to those people we can’t reeducate, that are diehard capitalists? And the reply was that they’d have to be eliminated.

And when I pursued this further, they estimated they would have to eliminate 25 million people in these reeducation centers.

And when I say eliminate, I mean kill.

Twenty-five million people.

I want you to imagine sitting in a room with 25 people, most of which have graduate degrees, from Columbia and other well-known educational centers, and hear them figuring out the logistics for the elimination of 25 million people.

And they were dead serious.

So when you laugh at Sarah Palin…maybe it is almost like whistling past the graveyard eh? Cause the folks we have managed to put into power are just this dangerous.

Quiet, Army of David’s At Work! Zero Hedge Calls On Them To Police Financial Criminals and Thieves…

Welcome to all the Instapundit readers. Please check out these posts as well regarding our financial industry:

Tyler Durden over at Zero Hedge has engaged the Army of David’s that Glenn Reynolds wrote a book about and it is going to be fun to watch the fireworks. Apparently they have a bunch of terrific information with which bring charges against more than a few folks in the financial industry and those institutions that govern them. Given the ridiculous amount of money being stolen right from under our noses by our politicians, bureaucrats and their corrupt business allies it is about time someone tried to do something about it. You may not win the fight when you poke a stick into a wasp nest but you sure do find out who all the wasps are.

Critical update: Zero Hedge thrives on its proactive readers, yet I never expected a barrage of information such as the one I received since posting this. In the hundreds of emails received over the past several hours, much of it from current industry insiders, a substantial portion is likely actionable, and upon further refinement, enforceable.

Going through it all will take time, however I take this opportunity to welcome any and all readers to provide information they believe captures wrongdoing in the financial system – in the absence of objective, unbiased and fair external regulators, it is the responsibility of everyone, but most notably insiders, to cleanse the system.

Zero Hedge will filter the data and forward our work product directly to appropriate Attorney General offices and local FBI branch offices. In retrospect, approaching the SEC and FINRA is futile, as they are both as much an integral part of the system as the perpetrators they are supposed to protect against. We’re slowly learning that fact. And we are very, very pissed off.

Dear CDS trader talking on the phone to your sales coverage discussing insider information on a deal while your bored analyst is eavesdropping…

Dear Senior Vice President at the strip club boasting to your subordinates how you misspent tens of thousands of taxpayer and investor dollars on strip clubs and prostitutes currying favor for the client, to catch that elusive multi-million deal so you can buy the third vacation home you will never frequent…

Dear General Counsel receiving sexual favors from the blonde assistant in exchange for promises of advancement that never come…

Dear Chief Executive Officer having an affair with the lady at the cosmetics section in that 5th Avenue store, while your wife and 3 children wait at home…

Dear retail broker guaranteeing your 70 year old client that investing in this particular BBB+ rated CDO will never lose money, just to hurry up and do the trade in the next 5 minutes…

Dear sell-side analyst telling your equity salesmen over shots of Grey Goose at Marquee just how crappy the REIT that you just upgraded is…
(and yes, you all know who you are)

Please look well around you, and pray that you did not piss off any of the people close to you, who know every move you make, and every word you speak… sleep well tonight, because tomorrow your face just may make the proverbial front page of the Wall Street Journal…or Zero Hedge if the former is just a little conflicted. Zero Hedge

Right now we need to spread the word about this fight so that we have eyes on the instigators. The more eyes the better the protection. Please spread the word.

And yes I realize that this may amount to nothing but you turn over enough rocks and you will eventually find the snake bastards who are stealing our money and our  children’s future. Yes never forget the children…heh. So help us turn over rocks…grab a few yourself and shake them.

There are many more of us than of them…like Beck says we surround them!
