This election will end badly…using race as a defense of a blatantly Marxist politician will see war on the streets when he loses, as he will. Blacks voted for Obama by an overwhelming percentage, something like 90% of the black vote went to Obama, they voted for him for racist reasons, so when he loses they will be unable to concieve of him losing for any other reason except race. It is how they framed their decision to vote for him so naturally they will project that unto whites. They will not understand that for most of America his philosophy is a corrupt failed ideology that we thought we had dispensed with years ago with the failure of the Soviet Union. We are voting against his philosophy, not his race. We despise that we are called racists for not agreeing with his philosophy and it shouldn’t surprise anyone if that causes a white few Americans to turn their backs on the entire idea of improving race relations. Obama is corrupting the well of good feelings that might have been developing…he is doing this deliberately otherwise he would denounce idiocy like what was said by Toure and others. That is the Alinsky method, create chaos, overwhelm the system.
On Thursday’s edition of MSNBC’s The Cycle the group discussed Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney‘s assertion that President Obama should “take [his] campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago.” Co-host Touré saw what he believes to be explicit racial connotations beneath what Romney was saying, calling it the “blank” of the campaign.
“That really bothered me,” he said. “You notice he said anger twice. He’s really trying to use racial coding and access some really deep stereotypes about the angry black man. This is part of the playbook against Obama, the ‘otherization,’ he’s not like us.”
“I know it’s a heavy thing, I don’t say it lightly, but this is ‘Blank,’” Touré said to the apparent shock of his co-panelists. “You are not one of us, you are like the scary black man who we’ve been trained to fear.”
Well at least NOW we can understand the Traitor In Chief’s Motives for suddenly going to war with Libya, Al Qaeda needed some help.
Mr al-Hasidi insisted his fighters "are patriots and good Muslims, not terrorists," but added that the "members of al-Qaeda are also good Muslims and are fighting against the invader".
His revelations came even as Idriss Deby Itno, Chad’s president, said al-Qaeda had managed to pillage military arsenals in the Libyan rebel zone and acquired arms, "including surface-to-air missiles, which were then smuggled into their sanctuaries".
And because just bombing the Libyan regular forces isn’t really enough for the Traitor In Chief’s handlers, we are also getting ready to arm the above named Al Qaeda Rebel “Freedom Fighters”. Republicans are bemoaning the fact that we didn’t go in earlier to help the Al Qaeda rebels. It is impossible to make this stuff up…but we are, 10 years after Al Qaeda killed 3,000 US Citizens actually considering arming them.
Western diplomatic sources have confirmed to Sky News that the US is considering the legality of arming the Libyan rebels.
One of the unintended consequences of United Nations‘ Resolution 1970 was to starve the rebels of the weapons they would need to take on Colonel Muammar Gaddafi.
It requires all UN members to "immediately take the necessary measures" to prevent the supply or sale of weapons to the Libyan government – with no exemption for anti-Gaddafi forces.
But Sky News now understands the US is looking at a legal framework to allow limited supplies of arms to the rebels, if they can prove they need them to defend themselves from attack.
Mark Kornblau, spokesman for US Ambassador Dr Susan Rice, confirmed it was a possibility.
And as I am finishing up this little blog post Trevor and Terresa go to press with more information on why Obama might be eager to go to war with Libya…the United Nations.
Why Did U.S. President Barack Obama order a military attack on Libya? Why did he seek the permission of the United Nations Security Council, but not that of the U.S. Congress – as he is constitutionally obliged to do?
The recent adventure into Libya, or shall I say ‘above Libya,’ is the first time in living memory we’ve seen the will of one man, even an American president, order and carry out an American military mission without even bothering to ask the American congress if it minds his messing about in a foreign country. In essence, one man in one day set in motion the power of the American military without any of the barest of rituals that normally come before. For conservatives to say that he is unfit to be Commander-in-Chief is to miss the point that he is much more a commander now than he was a week ago.
Rituals are important in government as are precedents. In bypassing the rituals, Obama has set a precedent, one that will be repeated next time under an even flimsier pretext. One of the goals in bombing Libya was not just to use military power against some unpopular dictator, but to test if he could use military power — on a weekend and while out of town — at will. Conservatives might ask if the Congress will ignore and the military will obey un-Constitutional orders while missing the fact that they just did. Corpulent gasbag Michael Moore declares war on the earners on MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show”. Really…no shit? The contingency who think guns are evil are declaring war on the contingency who don’t? Does he imagine that he lives in Cuba where the opposition is not armed, pissed off and ready to end this 100 argument with the left? Did he miss the numbers of folks we have put out in the street? Does he really want to go up against a group of people who are so well disciplined that we can show up in our capital with upwards of a million people upset enough to take off of jobs, put lives on hold and pay for a trip to DC to protest and not destroy the place. Indeed we policed our own garbage and DC looked better after we left, that is discipline that is unknown to the left. Mock us at your peril…make war on us if you are suicidal.
“This is war,” Michael Moore declared last night on MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show.” The porcine propagandist referred to the Wisconsin Senate’s 18-1 vote earlier in the evening in favor of legislation, supported by Gov. Scott Walker, that would strip politicians of the power to reward government employee unions for their political support by committing taxpayer money to their members’ extravagant pensions and other fringe benefits.‘This Is War’ – WSJ.com
The ugliest item of that exhibition in Wisconsin was the actions of the police. Now we know that it is possible for an entire police department to be corrupted by their union into not enforcing the law. That should worry most of you.
The Green Bay Press Gazette:
MADISON — Hundreds of off-duty police officers and deputies joined protests today against Gov. Scott Walker’s budget repair bill that would strip most collective bargaining powers from about 170,000 public employees. Police, state troopers and firefighters are exempt from Walker’s proposal, but even as some marched on the downtown Capitol Square, hundreds of other officers from around the state provided security. They came equipped with riot gear, including helmets and batons, they said, but didn’t expect trouble.
So perhaps the left is counting on the police to be guys who back up the lefts threats?
Meet Mark Lloyd he is the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)’s Chief Diversity Officer! Neato!
Well gee maybe this guy is a bit over the top eh? That color blind society that Martin Luther talked about is so much closer now that we have a black man acting as President.
This reminds me of those “diversity” clowns that run around universities banning speech, giving re-education classes and in general acting like the asses that they are. What we have here is the typical liberal university diversity czar…AKA fascist clown in a dangerous position of power.
Conference on Media Reform: Racial Justice May 2005
During the Clinton Administration, largely because of Congress who was then very concerned about affirmative action and believed that – although affirmative action largely benefited white women – that affirmative action was largely viewed as something that was benefiting blacks. Not necessarily any of the other racial groups (his laughter) but blacks. And that blacks had gotten enough and it was time to do something about this. These affirmative action programs needed to be stopped. We have not made much improvement since we’ve begun to pull back (sic) from those things in the mid 1990s.
The conversation about how we communicate with each other despite being aware of the clear impressions that I know that I make in rooms that I walk into, when people hear my voice, is a challenge. How much do I express the… I think really pretty obvious complaints of black Americans in rooms full of whites.
This… there’s nothing more difficult than this. Because we have really, truly good white people in important positions. And the fact of the matter is that there are a limited number of those positions. And unless we are conscious of the need to have more people of color, gays, other people in those positions we will not change the problem. We’re in a position where you have to say who is going to step down so someone else can have power.
There are few things I think more frightening in the American mind than dark skinned black men. Here I am.
Fairness and Accuracy In Media’s CounterSpin Radio July 2007
The black panthers, Van Jones, Holder, Reverend Wright, Father Phlegar and the rest of the racist crew all support Obama…? Why? Hey maybe Obama doesn’t like white folks either? Maybe that is why he keeps putting these maniacs into places of power? Of course Father Phlegar, Rev Wright and are not in power but that was because they jumped out of cover before Obama was elected…so under the bus they went.
If you are upset that I am asking this question you need to wonder how is it that so many blatant racists support Obama? Would they support Obama if he thought rational thoughts about white folks???
Larry Kudlow, as reported by Zero Hedge, is claiming on CNBC that earnings are Q2 earnings are MUCH better than Q1 earnings. Larry has a history of getting it wrong. Co-incidentally we have this commentary on Bloomberg by David Pauly revealing some of the dirty little secrets of the Wall Street analysts. Here are some snippets of Wall Street Analysts Keep Telling Big Earnings Lie.
At a time when the financial industry’s credibility is at an all-time low, you would think Wall Street’s finest would break their necks providing transparency.
Not so. Stock analysts continue to promote corporate earnings lies, insisting that net income isn’t really what investors need to know.
Instead, their earnings estimates ignore often huge expenditures that can’t help but affect a company’s health.
In analystspeak, Intel Corp. wasn’t hit with a $1.45 billion fine from the European Union in the second quarter for anticompetitive practices.
After setting aside funds to cover the fine, which Intel is appealing, the semiconductor-maker had a quarterly loss of $398 million, or 7 cents a share. Disregarding the fine altogether, analysts maintain the company earned 18 cents a share, beating their average estimate of 8 cents.
As Wall Street tells it, the employee stock options Google Inc. granted in the second quarter didn’t cost its shareholders $293 million.
Google, according to generally accepted accounting principles, earned $1.48 billion, or $4.66 a share, in the period. Not enough for Wall Street, which prefers to say the company earned $5.36 a share, leaving out the cost of stock options.
Now Larry Kudlow is not a Wall Street analyst but he does play like he is an economist. So is Larry Kudlow credible? Is ANYONE credible when discussing the economy? Larry Kudlow has a history of being wrong, not a little wrong but wrong as in missing HUGE movements in the economy. So explain again why does anyone listen to this guy anymore?
Here are some examples of Larry getting it spectacularly wrong.
September 20, 2007 As reported in this morning’s Wall Street Journal, credit markets have revived following the Fed move. Bond sales are resuming. Yields on corporate bonds and loans have moved lower. The commercial paper market is improving. The LIBOR rate has dropped by 35 basis points.
Confidence is returning.
July 25, 2008 If Things Are So Bad . . .If the economy is in recession, why are business durable-goods orders and shipments booming? Non-defense capital goods (capex) excluding aircraft rose 1.4 percent in June, or 19 percent at an annual rate over the last three months. Capex shipments rose 0.7 percent in June, or 8 percent annualized over the last three months. Business looks pretty healthy to me. And non-financial profits in the second quarter are rising 12 percent. Even including depressed bank earnings, positive surprises for profits are well outstripping negative surprises. And if we are in a housing depression, why have existing home sales in the hard-hit West (think California, Arizona, and Nevada) increased four straight months (plus 12 percent)? And why are they up 17 percent from the low in October? More important, nationwide median existing home prices have increased four straight months, from $196,000 to $215,000. That’s a 10 percent gain. (Two months later a crisis so huge that we must bailout billionairs occurs?!?!)
On July 28, 2008 the intrepid economist from the National Review could be found calling the bottom of the housing market. Which is hilarious because the median home price at the end of Quarter 2 2008 according to National Association of REALTORS® was $206,000 as of Quarter 1 2009 we are at $169,000 and no one except dangerous folks like Larry and other assorted Government Sponsored news media are calling the bottom yet. Nice work Larry!
July 28, 2008 The Media Are Missing the Housing Bottom [Larry Kudlow]Media reports painted a pessimistic picture of today’s release on existing home sales, which fell 15 percent from a year ago and recorded higher inventories. But inside the report was an awful lot of very good new news, which appear to be pointing to a bottom in the housing problem; in fact, maybe the tiniest beginnings of a recovery. For example, the median existing home price has increased four consecutive months and is up 10 percent since February. Yes, it’s down 6 percent over the past year. But the monthly numbers show a gradual rebound. Actually, this median home price is $215,000 in June, compared to $196,000 last winter.
The Contrary View Apart from presidential politics, oil’s plunge toward $100 deepens the tax-cut effect and brightens the economic outlook across-the-board. There is so much gloom and doom and pessimism in investment circles that now’s a great time to take a contrary view. (emphasis mine)Lower oil solves consumer purchasing power. And it will make it much easier for people to pay their mortgages on time. That in turn helps solve the credit crunch, because on-time payments enhance the value of all that mortgage-related bond-market paper held in portfolios. The oil tax cut also will help corporate profits as input price pressures recede, thus bringing costs into better alignment with prices. Productivity, which is trending around 3 percent, remains strong. That’s a big growth factor.
Credit spreads are too wide, but don’t forget that interest-rate levels everywhere are historically low. The level of bank loans is stable. Meanwhile, commercial paper issuance has been rising lately. Economist Art Laffer points out that 10 percent M1 growth over the last three months is a harbinger of stronger money demand, a good sign for economic growth.
Sharpening up my pitchforks and scythes, waiting for the call.
The Revolutionary War Was Started Over Less
Who can mobilize enough people for a March on Washington against the porkulus bill? It is clear by Harry Reid’s addition of an $8+ Billion light rail from Las Vegas to Los Angeles that the wish list keeps growing and there is no standard for Arlen Spektre or the RINOs in name that reign mainly from Maine to ever oppose it.
Maybe it is time for Glenn Reynolds to revisit his piece in the Chicago Tribune from 1995. In this piece Glenn argues that the militias, that everyone during that time were getting worked up about, were being established far too early. The militias, in Glenn’s opinion, did not have a case yet.
From his piece:
The most important aspect of this theory was representation. Those who were not represented lacked the citizen’s duty of loyalty. A government that taxed its citizens without representation was thus no better than an outlaw, and citizens enjoyed the same right of resistance against its officers as they possessed against robbers.
As this is being typed our "representatives" are busy hiding their motives behind closed secret meetings in a rush to mortgage our grandchildren’s future to pay back political favors.
Is this taxation without representation? Does this idea of taxation without representation have some technical meaning that negates the pit in my stomach. The pit the result of my having absolutely no input on how much money will be wrenched from the sweat of my brow to pay back political favors. Furthermore does this meaning of taxation without representation take into account that my grandchildren certainly have no representation…I have none yet. And yet they are the ones who will be paying this ridiculous bill back.
Does Glenn still think the militias have no case? Even in 1995 he cautioned those in power to take heed of those who felt so unrepresented that they were arming themselves for the revolution. Perhaps that is a warning that needs to be revisited? It certainly feels as if my government is making war on me.
Ayers also thinks the draft was crucial in building the counterculture, but he wants to leverage the power of universal service in a different direction: He advocates a compulsory service in areas like education and health care. It makes for a more robust and vivid discussion which we could all use, he said.
And finally from the Dear Leader himself Obama commenting on the Circle of Love.
"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
And because this is just a fun data point in this circle of love a story out of Great Britain shows that Paranoia is on the Rise! So the press is laying the groundwork to discredit anyone who might dissent from the circle of love.
Surveys of several thousands of people in Britain, the United States and elsewhere have found that rates of paranoia are slowly rising, although researchers’ estimates of how many of us have paranoid thoughts varies widely, from 5 percent to 50 percent.
After all what is there to be scared of a President whose website makes entire position papers vanish then reappear in a form that is uncontroversial then his chief of staff reappears and reverts to the old version of the policy while laughing about it? Circle of Love Indeed!
Just remember kiddies Paranoia Will Destroy Ya yes it can unless they REALLY ARE OUT TO GET YA! Here is Larry Grathwohl discussing the plans of the Weathermen. Larry was an FBI Operative who infiltrated the Weather Underground and stopped several bombings and other Circle of Love acts.
I asked, Well what is going to happen to those people we cant reeducate, that are diehard capitalists? And the reply was that theyd have to be eliminated.
And when I pursued this further, they estimated they would have to eliminate 25 million people in these reeducation centers.
And when I say eliminate, I mean kill.
Twenty-five million people.
I want you to imagine sitting in a room with 25 people, most of which have graduate degrees, from Columbia and other well-known educational centers, and hear them figuring out the logistics for the elimination of 25 million people.
Pajamas Media: One of the Detroit bombs was to be placed on the side of the DPOA building, and the blast was likely to cause damage to the adjacent Red Barn Restaurant, which had mostly African-American customers. Who ordered the attack, and what did he say when you told him that innocent civilians would be killed?
When I objected to Billy Ayers that more innocent people would be killed in the restaurant, he replied, Innocent people have to die in a revolution. Billy also acknowledged during a criticism session in Buffalo that Bernadine placed the bomb at the Park Police Station which resulted in the death of Police Officer McDonnell.
Pajamas Media: Bill Ayers came out of hiding around 1980, became an college professor, and has served on numerous boards and foundations. Do you think hes changed in his radicalism?
Larry Grathwohl: Has Billy changed? I hardly think so.
Pajamas Media: If conditions permitted, do you think Ayers would still engage in violence to further a political agenda?
Larry Grathwohl: He has acknowledged his support of anti-American groups and stated he felt that the Weathermen hadnt done enough.
Pajamas Media: Do you consider Bill Ayers an attempted mass murderer?
Larry Grathwohl: Im not certain Billy is a mass murder; his ego just wants him to be in charge. Note that Billy never does anything that involves risk. He has no problem allowing his women to do the evil task, Diane Oughton and even Bernardine, but never him. As for what he might do, hasnt he said he doesnt rule out the possibility of future bombings? [Ayers said he didn’t "want to discount the possibility" in this New York Times article from September 11, 2001. — Ed.]
Pajamas Media: Would you let your children attend a college or university class taught by Ayers or his wife, Bernadine Dohrn? What would you tell parents who have had their children exposed to Ayers academic programs, like the Small Schools Workshop?
Larry Grathwohl: As for Billys ideas on education, isnt it apparent? Reading, writing, and arithmetic arent important! Radicalism is whats important. Fits right in with the Billy Ayers view of creating mindless soldiers to follow his commands where best to lay the foundations of a revolution than with the young?
Pajamas Media: Do you think there is there any way that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama could not have known that Bill Ayers was a domestic terrorist? Is there any reason that the American people should accept Barack Obamas newest excuse about his relationship with Bill Ayers, where Obama claimed that he thought Ayers was reformed?
Larry Grathwohl: If we are to believe Mr. Obama, he just didnt know Billy was as radical as he apparently is. Really? Just like he didnt know the Rev. Wright was as radical as he is? Obama is a politician and he wants me to believe that he never discussed politics with the Rev Wright or Billy Ayers?
Nothing to see here according to conservative pundits Obama should not be feared. Okey Dokey. Sure anything you say. Still arming up!
ODINGA A third popular Obama "tip" has to do with Raila Odinga, the Kenyan prime minister and former opposition leader who claimed that Obama was a distant cousin.
They come from the same tribe but that really isnt important.
The reports surfaced after a political crisis in Kenya in which many international observers believed the vote was stolen from Odinga. As the international community rallied behind the opposition, Obama spoke to Odinga briefly on the telephone.
If Ben Smith is attempting to state that this is the only communication that Obama has had with Odinga then let me introduce Ben Smith to You Tube.
Gee Ben it looks like Odinga and The Lightworker are a bit closer than a mere phone call. Looks like they are standing right next to each other. Looks like "The Lightworker is campaigning for Odinga.
The media has ignored stories about the relationship between the two men because there’s no real evidence that one exists.
Well yea except for the video you see a few lines above this sentence, yea except for that, there is no evidence.
There is evidence that Obama toasted a PLO terrorist in the company of two domestic terrorists but the Los Angeles Times wont release the tape. So Ben your assertion that the press ignores stories because they dont exist rings a bit hollow. Or do you not consider the Los Angeles Times the press? If not welcome to the club.
But the story, which comes in many varieties, suggests that Obama campaigned for Odinga and funneled money to his campaign and that they’re close allies.
Well gee I am not a trained Elite Press Guy like Ben Smith so I cannot be sure but it sure likes that video depicts a campaign. And that sure looks like The Lightworker in that video is campaigning for Odinga.
Washington Times has a bit about this that maybe a professional like Ben Smith has not seen.
Mr. Odinga had the backing of Kenya’s Muslim community heading into the election. For months he denied any ties to Muslim leaders, but fell silent when Sheik Abdullahi Abdi, chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum, appeared on Kenya television displaying a memorandum of understanding signed on Aug. 29, 2007, by Mr. Odinga and the Muslim leader. Mr. Odinga then denied his denials.
Oops Wrong again Ben.
The details of the MOU were shocking. In return for Muslim backing, Mr. Odinga promised to impose a number of measures favored by Muslims if he were elected president. Among these were recognition of "Islam as the only true religion," Islamic leaders would have an "oversight role to monitor activities of ALL other religions [emphasis in original]," installation of Shariah courts in every jurisdiction, a ban on Christian preaching, replacement of the police commissioner who "allowed himself to be used by heathens and Zionists," adoption of a women’s dress code, and bans on alcohol and pork.
Gee that sounds like a bad idea maybe he wasnt serious?
This was not Mr. Odinga’s first brush with notoriety. Like his father, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, the main opposition leader in the 1960s and 1970s, Raila Odinga is a Marxist He graduated from East Germany’s Magdeburg University in 1970 on a scholarship provided by the East German government. He named his oldest son after Fidel Castro.
Hey no wonder Obama and Odinga got along so royally! Obama loves hanging around with Marxists. Course if Odinga is a Marxist then he most likely uses his Christianity as a cover for his radicalism hey that’s just like Obama! From Obamas tome Dreams of My Father
"To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully," the Democratic presidential candidate wrote in his memoir, "Dreams From My Father." "The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists."
And Obamas grandfather was quite happy to introduce young Obama to Frank Davis ( just FRANK in Deams of ) who was a noted communist. Obama waxed poetically about dear old Frank.
Raila Odinga was implicated in the bloody coup attempt in 1982 against then-President Daniel Arap Moi, a close ally of the United States. Kenya has been one of the most stable democracies in Africa since the 1960s. The ethnic cleansing earlier this year was the worst violence in Kenya since that 1982 coup attempt.
Change you can believe in! Btw Odingas campaign was centered around CHANGE! Hey where have we heard that before?
Mr. Odinga spent eight years in prison. At the time, he denied guilt but later detailed he was a coup leader in his 2006 biography. Statue of limitations precluded further prosecution when the biography appeared. Initially, Mr. Odinga was not the favored opposition candidate to stand in the 2007 election against President Mwai Kibaki, who was seeking his second term. However, he received a tremendous boost when Sen. Barack Obama arrived in Kenya in August 2006 to campaign on his behalf. Mr. Obama denies that supporting Mr. Odinga was the intention of his trip, but his actions and local media reports tell otherwise.
Well gee Ben I guess your debunking of the Odinga claim was a bunch of that stuff The Lightworker is shoveling
